Hey guys. I have a 2012 xlt with the chrome clad 18's. I scored a hell of a deal on some fx 18's and was just wanting to make sure my lug nuts will work with the fx rims. I'm sure they will but wanted to make sure.
I'd consider picking up a new set to replace the chrome capped stock ones. It only takes once to turn the caps themselves on the nut stripping it and making it impossible to use the proper method to remove it. Just a heads up. Plus you could get some pretty nice anodized ones for a round $50 bucks.
No problem I just had to deal with that problem on a friend's POS Charger. Had to hammer on a smaller socket to get the lug nut off. Not something I'd want to do with a set of rims I cared about.
I managed to not hit the rim but cam awful close a few times!
