Looking for the largest tire possible tire (wide and tall) that wont rub when I turn the wheels. I've got a 2011 FX2 with 18" wheels. Discount tire gives me the standard blah blah blah they can guarantee anything besides what is recommended by the manufacturer....

I've got my eye on the BFG All Terrain T/A KO.

I'm running the BFG All Terrain T/A KO in a 275/70/18 (33") with zero problems. I believe any larger then that without a lift you might run into problems. I might be selling mine (They have about 6000 miles on them) if your interested.

I've been looking at going to a Nitto Terra 295/70 (34"), however I'm almost positive that will require a 2" lift in the front.

Dan, the 295/70/18 wil require a 2" level. If you decide to go up to 20" wheels, 305/55/20 is the largest tire you can fit with a 2" level.

I read some where about a week ago, because I was wondering the same, that the largest would be a 33x11.00 tire. I have a top gunz customs 2" metal spacer for the front that I purchased for my '05 that I never put on, that I was thinking of using on this truck and putting a 3" block in the rear so I could run either 295's or 315's.

I ran a stock Raptor wheel/tire (34.4) on stock FX4 with no problem. The jack isn't holding any vehicle weight.

I have 275/85/20 Toyo open country AT with 2" leveling

on Front. Works fine
