I installed my new DRL's from Custom Dynamics.
Good stuff. Easy install and frickin' bright.

Those look great. What was the install like?

Also, what size strip did you use?

Can you give us a close up photo unlit and how you ran the wiring?

Looked these up. Now on the wishlist. Been looking for something that I could use as DRL's as I didn't want to run out the HID's...now to decide where and how long the strip is going to be.

On this link, scroll down to the bottom. Daytime Running Lamps - DRLs I have two of the DRL42PLUS on each headlight.

I also put LED bulbs in my turn signals to match the flash rate from the old incandecent bulbs.

US42 on each headlamp.

Nope. There are several "Safety Corridors" on Alaska where headlights are required by law.

I think they look kinda cheesy. It is cool how they work with the signal though.

I also get irritated when I pull out to pass and all of a sudden there is an oncoming idiot that blends into the horizon that I couldn't see. Light is beneficial and allows one to be seen...but I agree that in most places they are not as necessary.
