I know it’s not your typical grill, but I’m sure the light output would still be just as good in an oem grill. This is a curved 42” mounted on the grill bumper holes. It fits perfectly. So the light bar acts as a support for the grill. I just put a small piece of felt between the two.

Whats the point of a light bar other than off roading....in the mountains...at night?
Do you mean in the caves ? Lol. Why dose it have to be in the mountains ?, and i don’t think your going to use it in the day time!....that we know!

But yes a lots of people trail ride at nite! (Me personally) I ride in the UP and a lot of the roads are like trails up their. Plus you get to occasionally flick the idiot off that runs with them on at nite down in the city. Well worth the 160$. IMO.

Well that makes sense then. But for people that buy a 4x4, lift the hell out of it, put huge tires and light bars on it and just drive it in the city...that makes less than no sense. Increases rolling resistance, increases frontal area, destroys scrub radius, increases body roll, ruins suspension geometry with most kits...unless the owner is smart enough to do it the right way, but most kits destroy geometry... puts added wear on suspension components as well as drive train components, etc tec. The end result is a lower performing vehicle with respect to the city driving guy in terms of handling, acceleration, braking, and significantly reduced gas mileage. End rant. As long as you are off-roading it, carry on :)
You might want to take your rant! else where!....like, what has pissed you off thread. There’s people who buy trucks that don’t even use them as “trucks”. They don’t even use the bed of a truck and drive in the city. We don’t knock them. We can go on forever about it. What about people who “mod” their trucks out...for what? Just to be used as their D D and to drive the speed limit, in the city. I mean come on!!..who cares what people spend their money on. As long as it makes them happy!! [emoji41].
