Picked up my 2013 crew 4x4 the middle of April and love driving it. Long time GMC guy.

Would like to hear more turbo whistle like a cummins in a Ram. I can hear them a bit with window down.

Don't want to change the whole exhaust. Will a cold air intake give me more?

was just going to recommend rolling with a AFE Stage 2 as it doesn't add a whole lot of power (mixed with a tuner does) but really adds some volume to the Turbos.

My AFE stage 2 helped a little as far as noise goes from the turbos, I also added livernois catted downpipes at the same time so I don't know how much of that is from which one. I will say this Catless downpipes will make them scream compared to even a high flow cat.

Dumb question. What are Catless downpipes?

Is cat short for Catalytic converter?

Just clarify what we are talking about.

And usually catted aftermarket downpipes utilize a small more high flow cat.

Intake will add more noise... A tune will add more noise... Mak y pipe will add more.. BUT remember these turbos are smaller than your typical diesel turbo. I don't see these turbos being at the noise level of a cummins / modified super duty.

I agree, I just have the AFE Stage II and love the volume increase. When I tap the throttle at 1500, it sounds an aggressive whoosh of air.
