I know, but to say I have upgraded turbos would be cool,,,,,,, LOl Yup, I am not going farther than I am now, E50 dialed in and call it a day...... Drive and enjoy, If I can't be happy with a very low 12 sec truck, then I need help!
Yeah I hear ya. Well I guess I need help then lol. If I was in your shoes I’d have a much harder time justifying larger turbos than I would in my situation.

^^^^ exactly

My first Turbo was a 1984 SVO Mustang.
We were just coming out of the post-muscle-car regulation purgatory that had the Chevrolet Corvette capped at 180HP.

Suddenly, the awakening of the sleeping giant: FUN to drive

You described that flavor of the new version of fun perfectly. :)
I wonder how accurate that 175 horsepower rating was? Seemed like Ford forgot to count a handful of ponies on that 2.3.

I had a ‘79 Mustang turbo 2.3L 4-speed with a generous 132 hp. I had to look up stats and found: zero-to-sixty times of 9.1 seconds and ran the quarter in 17.4 seconds at 82 mph. ( 1979 Ford Mustang Turbo First Drive: Old School Turbo Power ).
I don’t miss the late ‘70’s at all, car wise.

Hey, I’m just saying. Some nice stage 4s with 46mm compressor would sound pretty wicked!

My father was rocking an '80 200ci 6 cylinder Mustang Ghia if I'm not mistaken. That car struggled to do 70 MPH. My how times have changed. We both missed the Cleveland power of the early seventies. I received the hand me down '71 Torino 500.

Just ordered a large magnaflow muffler. We’ll see if that helps my trucks rasp. So then it begs the question, should I ditch the Corsa muffler and put the magnaflow right there and leave the Flowmaster muffler in its place upstream? Or should I put the magnaflow in place of the Flowmaster and leave the Corsa muffler downstream?

Larger mufflers with more packing inside or whatever it is and more than just 1 big (or small) chamber will sure help with raspiness but also more backpressure. Not sure you want that.
Well, I want free flowing. But sound deadening. The magnaflow I got is straight through design, but it splits inside, but still straight through.

Hmm, how much is that going to affect me do you think? Cuz it’s quite raspy right now and the Flowmaster didn’t seem to do much. It took all drone away, when I’m on the gas or just cruising I can’t even hear the truck, but as soon as I punch it, it screams so loud. So I don’t think that Flowmaster is creating much back pressure, but the magnaflow might. Is that going to take some of my hp away? It’s still 3”, and it’s still straight through, (it does do a split inside and then go back through the same hole)

I am interested to hear your thoughts on the muffler and to actually hear a video of it

Well, I gotta figure out how I’m gonna do it first, but right now I’m thinking putting the magnaflow in place of the Corsa and then driving it and seeing what it sounds like. I’m going to keep the Corsa muffler of course just in case I want it back on there.
