I haven't seen much hottrodding with Gen14 3.5 because the tuning required hasn't really had a chance to get going.

Well Livernois has been at it for a little. Now Torrie is supporting it, and many others now.
It was Livernoise or nobody until very very recently. So I would suspect the SCT guys, and now HPTuners guys are barely getting their feet wet?

Of course it's not an all new motor physically, so their experience with Gen2 is going to bring a lot to the table.

Bret has had his Tremor now for a while and I'm waiting to hear how similar the tuning is.
I have some interesting news guys.

I’ve been chatting with Andrew at CRP, discussing a set of larger custom turbos for me. I know, I already have large turbos, don’t laugh, but we are pushing them fairly good, about 20 psi, but they aren’t at their limit. However, I don’t want to be that far into their limit.
Also, the main reason I inquired is because I do feel like they peeter out on the upper end (at higher speeds).
If you look at guys at sea level on bigger turbos, their trucks keep accelerating with the same acceleration through the whole speedometer. Mine on the other hand begins to slow down at about 95mph. That is due to the turbos.
Anyways, the cool news is,

Andrew told me he hasn’t had a lot of time to look into it, but a quick look told him a 48mm inducer might work. He said they might merge that with a 2021+ 3.5L upgrade as well but he didn’t have a ton of time at the moment due to order volume.

Anyways, just a piece of info about CRP and you 21+ 3.5 guys, might be getting some pretty large turbo upgrades coming!
Dude, you and my wife, she just asked for a lager hairdryer from Ultra, the cost...... Gawd

Just giving you a laugh, that would be sweet from CRP!

Finally got the XDI EVO high pressure pump installed.

They sent me the wrong pump at first, you’ll see the bottom photo, the pump looks different. So I sent it back and they sent me back the right pump. Then they forgot to swap the mounting bolts for some shorter ones, but I ended up just cutting them down to fit. Had kind of some hiccups, but it went well in the end. I’ll begin datalogging the e85 tune today maybe.

Low pressure pump is falling behind. Could damage the hpfp if I kept doing pulls.

Is it not actuating the PWM properly to increase flow?

Well, I’m not sure, but I’ll know in a couple hours. I think the demand for the pump was just at stock demand. So, it was only demanding whatever stock was. Torrie has increased the demand a lot I believe on this new tune, so we’ll see what that does.

It’s hard to keep up with all the comments, messages and stuff on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and here. Kinda overwhelming. YouTube is taking a lot of my priority.

For those who didn’t see, I got this 2018 2.7 Ecoboost engine for free and I’m beginning the process of tearing it down. Got the turbo off last night. Looks in good shape

Oh man, yes that would be.
Little update.
I ran at the drag strip yesterday and the truck was slow. Went a 12.52 and second run was a 12.49. Was pulling some serious power out due to not enough fuel. The injectors are not big enough according to Torrie. Hpfp Is solid, lpfp is solid.

Gonna be a month from now before XDI sends me their prototype injectors.

For now Torrie is dialing back fuel so I can run the truck again and get good times until then.

Totally would donate it.... then we build it and dominate at the track with it...

Dude… this engine though, it looks rebuildable. According to Ryan stuff looks pretty good.
