I hate Instagram honestly. I just have a lot of friends on there that I like to keep up with.
I just got a tik tok account yesterday......... no FB not insta and no other platform

Lol that’s one of the reasons I don’t have TikTok.

Alright, here’s a pull. I think this was 65% throttle. You guys see the dark blue steady line across the bottom during the pull and at the end it jumps way up? Well that’s turbo wastegate percentage. So during the entire pull, the wastegates are completely closed at 0%(2.7 is the inverse of the 3.5, when the 3.5L says 0% that means the wastegate is wide open) So doesn’t that mean I have room for more power theoretically?

Would that actually make them louder? What’s the insulation blanket for anyway, fire?

Here’s an interesting bit of information.

Basically what’s happening is during WOT, my wastegates were 100% closed, resulting in 22.5 psi. Not a bad thing, but here’s what was actually bad.

See this photo? (I took the actuator off the stage 2 turbo and am comparing it with my stock turbo wastegate actuator on my old stock turbo.) This is the wastegate actuator, shoved all the way till the wastegate is closed, and that’s how far the bolt sticks out for the preload.

Now, take a look at this picture. Here’s the stock wastegate off my old stock turbo. Look how far the threads stick out, there’s a lot less preload on the stock wastegates. So, I threw the stock wastegates onto the stage 2 turbos, and hopefully that fixes the problem.
