SPD trombone and prototype HX Helmholtz muffler is here! Already installed too and it sounds mean! Very throaty how I like it, reminds me of the Corsa exhaust which is now sitting in the garage. I definitely love it.
Then there’s the WOT and driving around, it sounds sick! That equal length forever is my favorite Ecoboost sound.

It just looks the business. Can't wait to hear it.

Looks great. Educate me on the piggy backed muffler?
Well I’m not an expert on it, but from what I know, on top, it’s a resonator that doesn’t hurt the overall sound level of the exhaust, but it helps to nuke unwanted drone.

Here’s a good video on that chamber

Well now I’m looking into a built motor. Just emailed Manley
Dude, what? This turned into something you said it would not after your 2.7!!! can't say that I blame you or that I might be a tad jealous

Don't open that engine up. Do what you can with bolt-ons, and be happy.
Not THAT engine. I agree. (The one that's already getting him to the job and back)

But build a second motor?
Absolutely!
It's his destiny. Matt was born for this.

I wouldn't have known that 5 years ago.
I'll admit that I raised my eyebrows 4,3, or even 2 years ago. But not any longer. I'm now tuning in and looking forward to see his approach with a Gen14 truck and a Gen3 3.5

I agree it’s not what I said, but I also wasn’t expecting my YouTube to be where it is. If that wasn’t a factor I wouldn’t be doing this. But it’s gone so far above my expectations that, as @snakebitten said, it’s the destiny of where this is going.

Oh I’m not, don’t worry. Going to build a second engine separately. It’s going to take time though.

Yes sir. I want to push the platform, get more people into it show what can be done! Jake McCartney and Carsen Frankens are doing that too with their 9 second 3.5 f150s but both of them are Gen 2. It’s time to push the Gen 3 and be the first one to build a motor for one. Need to see what it’s capable of.

TBH I'd just get a 5.0 and twin turbo it with an off the shelf kit and then get a good tune for it. A heck of a lot cheaper then building a brand new motor, much better exhaust, less time, and it's going to be way more reliable IMO

Probably, this and a on3 turbo kit.

Oh I agree, except it won’t be less expensive. A whole other truck, all the engine parts, the turbo kit, the fueling upgrades, wheels and tires, I mean the build list goes on and on. It’s a never ending cascade.

I agree with you, @boostkingMatt, but you realize the path you are choosing is also a never ending journey. You know this so well already. Speed costs money. How fast ($$$) do you wanna go? Getting it there is one thing, the part of the equation that you can't put a price on, up front, is keeping it there. ;)

RC 4x4 XL and a turbo kit would have a good sized initial cost but will go like stink and be further ahead.

Yeah I know, but when 2000+ people are following the journey things are much more affordable. However, we will see what happens, I’m not sure I like the idea of modifying (to the level of built motor) my daily driver, so I might be looking into a race truck body to build up.

If you can leverage you sponsors and make it work for you. Go for it.
