When we visit we like the Hampton in Westgate. My older sister lived in Sun City but has moved back to WI. KM

I went with the clear bug deflector with the thought I was going to paint it from the back to match the truck. I never did - it mostly disappears. Glad I have it. There is a 4mm hold in it and a chip in the paint, I can only imagine how big the chip would have been (probably a dent) without it.

I have been being careful with the throttle down here at 1200’ but the other day I opened it up for a second and it felt fast to say the least.

This grille looks stunning! I love it. Also got a Livewire Vision so I can monitor data… hopefully it works, I’m messing with it right now.

Let us know what you think of the Livewire as a monitor. KM

Due for an update I guess.

Jacob at SPD sent me this photo today, it’s the same setup I have except over the axle pipes instead of pre axle dumps, allowing one to hook up raptor/tremor etc tailpipes to it. I asked if I could call dibs on it and he hasn’t responded yet. I will have one nonetheless obviously

I sent the bumper end caps to ColorWerks up in Denver and they will paint them rapid red D4 for me. Will be about a 90% match, I’m good with that.

Alright, I need y’all’s expertise.

I think I’m going to order this and figure out how to make it work.
To be honest I want the valves to work. Could I get the controllers for the valves and wire them to a switch? Or does anyone know if the valves would be wide open when not controlled?

If I had to guess, Ford would have it fail to the quiet side. It uses a push button on the raptor steering wheel. The wheel will work, but you can't use the button cluster from a raptor. You'd need to figure out the voltage applied to the motors compared to how far they're open. You could probably do a straight 12v switch for open/close.

I’m thinking of cutting that portion of the valves out actually. I ordered the muffler, I’ll inspect it when it arrives. It was so cheap, 513$ shipped.

I was thinking about that but I'm sure it's a nightmare electronically.

You could just get 17-20 OEM Raptor Muffler and install cutouts, that's the route I'm going but with either Auger mufflers or Black Widow Widowmakers. I put Flo-Pro Twisters on and it's a really nice sound for daily driving, just misses some of the idle and low speed grunt straight pipes or BW Neighborhaters have

There is no single setup that satisfies all Exhaust needs lol these are hard engines to tame.

Oh I don’t intend to use the valves, and I don’t want to do a cutout, as straight piping it sounds like crap honestly, no offense to your build.
I can’t do a Gen 2 muffler since it won’t reach from my Gen 3 SPD trombone. I want something plug and play with no extra welding (aside from cutting out the valve portion of the Gen 3 exhaust)

Have yall seen the 2024-2025 HO 3.5 has the turbos bolted directly to the heads like the 2.7?

Great video on a ranger raptor valved muffler, I imagine it's similar to the raptors....not really a great flowing setup IMO

Thanks for the link. That setup flows a ton!! My friend Jake McCartney with the second fastest 3.5 in the world runs the dual exhaust, x pipe, trombone etc.
