Little behind the curve here, but I have had issues in the past with vehicles acting like they had spark blow out from timing being retarded too far. That could have been the issue as well. Lighting the mix too late creates a very unstable burn. Sometimes you make significantly more power with less boost and more timing.
Yeah, when I have Adam mess with that 91 tune again I will ask him to lower boost.

Adam gave me another e30 revision. I haven’t tried it yet. I’m gonna have him take the 91 tune and lower the boost to see if we get knock still.

Going to swap the NGK ruthenium’s back in right now since I know that wasn’t the issue.

Still haven’t tried that e30 revision yet. I probably will load it today or tomorrow and maybe try a 1/4 mile on Sunday. Idk yet.

I finally got around to trying Adam’s new e30 tune. There was a weird shift which needs fixed, and other than my 0-60 getting messed up, it was fast and felt insane, especially the top end power.

Ok guys, here’s the plan. Going to test Adam’s newest e30 tune file.

Going to remove the tailgate and seats for a total of 200lbs approximately. That should essentially shave off .2 seconds on the 1/4 mile but we’ll see. Could be an 11, we shall just have to see.

So you would suggest removing my tail gate...I will give it a try at my next drag races on Saturday

Just don't store it in the bed during the races.

I tried to do a launch but the truck stayed in 1st gear and then shot into neutral, so I’m not sure what that was about. It shifts in 1st 2nd 3rd just fine when driving normally. Must just be an issue in the tune

Hey Matt be careful?
My first E-50 tune was good enough for a pull sent in for revision. Revision came back, leaving gas station under a little boost. Truck backfired shut off, wrench on info screen. No crank no start, dang stuck in traffic in Texas.
i had to remove key and open door, put key back in to start. Drove easy for about a mile. Tried again, same scenario . Went back to first tune no issues.
Sent a vine to Richie. He got it straight for me.
Again this was Adam.

watch out for cookie cutter tunes?

Adams tunes aren’t cookie cutter. But it’s possible something got messed up in the tune file. We’ll see what’s up. I’m gonna check the transmission fluid level just to make sure it’s ok.
