I have to admit, it took 12 years to get what I got now and at the end. In stead of getting the form line. I went cheap but good, until they fell.
BD Diesel.
Ah. Yeah the BD diesel manifolds will still warp. So will the CRP manifolds unfortunately

Yep
I’m hoping all of the warping issues were also installation issues.

proper bolt tightening pattern and using that dang impact wrench for everything.

there are three different torque specs in a certain order.
6000miles so far. I’m keeping my fingers crossed? Hahaha

Sorry about the multiple vines.
But I had 200,000 miles+ they didn’t warp.

I wish someone would hurry up and make headers and intake manifolds for my 2018 2.7

The 2.7 does not use exhaust manifolds so no header to use. The exhaust is routed in the head and cooled by engine coolant the turbo bolts directly to the head. As for the intake, it is pressurized and improvement would be negligible. KM

Similar mileage on my BD's so far without issue.

Unfortunately I'm not a great candidate for stress testing them, given how little I tow or beat on the truck anymore. Plus it might take a decade to put 100k on them at this point.

So… I think my transmission fluid is actually 2 quarts low. I’m going to check it properly today, but judging by where it’s at on the dipstick, it should be at 2. It’s at 5-6.

Yours is a totally different cooling system than a 21+. There's also a thing as too cold, and where Matt lives he'd likely have that issue.
Hey Gord0; yes sir I agree with that. In Louisiana it’s something I wouldn’t hesitate to do. For a $150. I would give it a shot. Besides I hear external bypass valves needs replacement more often than internal valves.
A little reading for you.

Sweet!
I'd guess it's for cool parts! ;)

(They've sent me a few free turbos in the past, so in a way, I feel like they sponsored me too!)

It is for some cool parts… I can’t wait to show you guys.
That’s cool, yes I’d say you are sponsored by them technically!

LOL I can’t wait to see it.
They’re always coming out with new stuff nobody else is doing.

Saw just today that they have Borg Warners for the Gen1 that flow like the Garret Powermax’s (+20% vs oem).

My encounters with them are just them doing an amazing job taking care of customers. It’s why if I need something I check to see if they sell it first.

Exactly. Yeah I saw those Borg Warners. Pretty sweet. Basically I am lining up a secret from Full Race and then the stage 5+ turbos with 5 blade compressor wheels from CRP, and the result is gonna be sick.
