It’s time to get this rolling. Thanks to @snakebitten for the name suggestion.

The last truck I went wild, this will be mild. The vision for this truck is simple bolt-on modifications that can be ‘easily’ removed and returned to stock. The plan here is longevity and simple mods for comfort or increased towing performance

The truck was ordered June 4 and arrived August 6. 2019 crew cab 6.5ft bed in Ruby Red. HDPP and max tow. As optioned as one could wish for while still maintaining HDPP

Plans are as follows:
Whipple Mega Cooler
S&B Intake
Icon Delta Joint UCA’s (maybe)
Bilstein 5100’s all the way around 1.25” setting
Morimoto XB Projector Fog Lights
Ford Performance Diff Cover (Spicer 10023539)
Line X Bedlined and Wheel Wells
Pro Z Premium Trifold Tonneau
Husky Weatherbeater Mats
Oedro Mud Flaps
Hood Hinge mounted Rigid D2’s
Ford OEM tailgate assist
3M Ceramic Tint 20% fronts and 50% windshield
AWE exhaust

Update:

The guy and gal got a 3 step wash today:

I didn’t capture the wife’s Volvo but it looked fire as I always do.

This truck is BAD. I’m talking the wifey into trading her Volvo in for a full size. Twin boys do damage.

MAXXPAY is gonna stay in the fleet for a minute. The next is going to be an F450

We have an alligator hunting season in Arkansas. Forget when. Never been. There are a few in a timber break we logged out in the 70's just a few miles east of here. The water freezes there. Gators survive the winter same as turtles do. They only need their nostrils out of the mud. Never stays below freezing more than a week here, if that long. Sunshine restores their metabolism.

Lots and lots of public land here. Non resident permits might be a tad steep.

Whats the cost? Lol. Since I left the Midwest the shell shock is over

Planning to start adding some weight to the trailer soon. Wanted to jump on this knowing the price of steel is still expected to increase 1Q22. Truck towed fine in ideal conditions 80mph+. With the family and never knowing what could happen I still want to error on the side of caution

Hey friends long time no talk! Maiden camping voyage with the trailer complete. Bare necessities for two guys and two dogs. Having heat and AC and a place to lay our heads without worrying about the weather meant more than these pictures could portray.

Put the motorcraft 180* thermostat in tonight. Sold the whipple intercooler last weekend and ordered the AMS to replace it. Install next week due to weather delays.

Will also be reverting back to the stock intake with AEM dry flow this weekend.

Truck pulled this trailer like I drink beer. Hard and heavy!

Pulled in to a stop because I forgot to fasten the 30lb propane tank for the gen inside the trailer. Needless to say, I’m still under bumper to bumper with 5* tunes so I let ‘ER eat! Even with the ~700lbs tongue weight I was spinning tires and I didn’t let out the throttle until I was doing 70mph (shame on me I know - call my mother)

Enjoy and know I’m still lurking.

Went to install the AMS last night. Got a road block. They do not work with GFB blow off modification. Waiting on another factory valve to show up.

Curious why are you going back to the stock intake?

Fair enough, just wanted to know the reasoning. I have an AFE haven’t had any issues.

Yup. Figured I would take the 300 bucks from selling the Cobb and use it for other things that actually make a difference. Like the AMS intercooler I got installed last night!

For clarity I decided to go with the AEM drop in due to the environment I’m in (South FL)

Bang for the buck at $135 bucks and holds ice for five days. Pays for itself after a few trips !

Oh yeah! I got mine something like 4 years ago for $99. Even at $135 I say well worth it!

Looks like a Lifetime cooler. I also use them as I camp in areas with black bears. They are IGBC accepted, which is required for food storage in parts of the Superior National Forest. KM
Sorry to derail your thread Maxx .

How is the fit on the AMS intercooler? My CVF slid right in place but does not leave a lot of room. KM
