Last night I installed some Ford Performance Bilstein B8 6112 struts. Also some matching reservoir shocks for the rear. Only 1/2" of rake now.
The ride is much better, planted, more truck like .
The steering feels completely different. Much quicker, like the steering box gearing was changed.
Other changes;
Air dam delete.
Tinted windows and eyebrow.
5 extra tie downs in bed.
275/70/18 Cooper XLT's.
I love this tire size. Better clearance without the huge mpg hit and drive train wear and tear.
Thanks for all your posts and feedback, I've learned a lot from you guys.

If I had a Gen 14 I'd be thinking about that Ford Performance kit. TC Customs had good things to say about it over the prior gen Fox FP kit.

The 6112's are a seriously beefcake shock next to a 2". When you look at them side by side with a 5100 or 5160 its kinda crazy how much bigger they are. its only 1/2" in diameter but the volume of the shock is significant.

In other words, I think they probably do have a pretty significant advantage over a 2" Fox.
