I have recently been getting into doing performance modifications to my truck and so far I have installed the aFe Stage 2 Intake, Cross db exhaust with resonator delete, and ups mega catch can
I currently want to buy a tune but I am noticing that mot is a lot more expensive. MPT's SCT X4 with three of their custom tunes costs me $714 before delivery and tax. 5 stars SCT with 3 custom tunes will cost me $450 before shipping and tax. Is MPT worth spending all that money over 5 stars tunes. Keep in mind my truck is sitting at 173,000 miles and I daily drive it every day ranging for 150-300 miles.
I do make sure to stay on top of maintenance with every 5k miles I do an oil change with the hem rotorcraft oil and filter. I recently got all the carbon build up cleaned up, spark plugs changed, new coolant, fresh diff and transferase fluids.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated
