Just threw on the new 3" bolt on lift from Rough Country on my 2017 xlt Fx4. Lift took about 5 hours to throw on. Came with new UCA's. Had no issues and I'm pleasantly surprised. Got some Ridge Grapplers 295/70r18 ready to throw on my oem rims being delivered in about a week. Got a true 3" lift. Front fender was sitting at 37", now at just about 40 1/4"....thinking it will settle a bit more in a week or so. I'll update pics when the new shoes are on.

I've looked at this kit a few times for my '14. Since it's a puck kit does it cause geometry problems, or do new control arms correct that?

No, the differential would have to be dropped to correct the geometry

Finally got the Nitto Ridge Grapplers on (295/70r18). Happy with the look. Stock height was around 37" front and 38"ish in the back. Now I'm at 42" all around. 20170701_175559.jpg 20170701_180028.jpg
