hey every one , new to this here
just orders my new ecoboost , lol got to wait 6 weeks for it
not much , got what our family Budget can afford
base xlt 4 door 6.5 box 4x2 towing package , color is blue jeans

on my 3 rd f150 , my trade in is an 03 xlt 4 door with 200km / 123k mile
i love this truck and has never ever failed us , but it's 10 years old
and does need some TLC , about 4 to 5 g worth
had a hard time moving on with this one i real like the shape and the drive

I'm a ford guy 100% , I've has 3 focus , a few mustang , a topas and escort back in the day and the wifes car is a 2011 fusion witch we love

the gaol with the ecoboost is once we pay off the wifes car we are looking into getting 28 ft RV , my kids love camping , but not sleeping on the floor in a tent lol go figure , we have rented them a few time and had a blast but my 2003 5.4 had a hard time in the mountains of Vermont

and yes as time passes i will mod my truck as i can not leave any thing stock lol , my wife i have a decease lol
i will looking for advise here for those mods

thanks
tony

The better fuel milage will all depend on your driving style. The EcoBeast really tempts you to mash the go pedal because it is just so smooth and powerful. There are several fuel economy threads on this forum that have great information on how to get the most mpg. With a little practice quite a few of us are getting 19-24 mpg on the highway and 16-18 in city driving. I can even get over 13mpg while towing my 9k pound camper in good weather. If you have any questions about your new truck just post them up. There is a lot of knowledge on this site, and I am sure we can learn a thing or two from you as well.

When I purchased my ecoboost I looked at Chevy and dodge trucks and nothing could compare to the interior, ride nor look of the ford. Overall a damn good truck.
