Anyone tried these plugs? Always had good luck with NGK so I’m tempted to try ‘em.

Because when I was reading, the only other plug that tuners recommend are these!

I change my plugs at 20000 and do not need the extra life of Ruthenium's. The iridium NGK 6510"s have performed fine in my 2.7. They do have a good rep!
I went to NGK as they do not play games with the part numbers like MC. KM

My plugs at 70k miles. Motorcraft stock. I was very very impressed and did another set of motorcrafts 1 heat range colder. That was about 2k miles ago, ish. Full disclosure, I had a misfire on cylinder 6 today, first one since I changed my plugs to the last set 72k miles ago. Truck settled down after about a quarter mile from the misfire, was out of limp mode before i could take the next exit and is running fine now. Was also with a new tune revision so I am not sure I blame the plugs yet but it does give me a reason to pull cylinder 6 and share a couple pictures. Tomorrow evening. Current plugs all gapped to .028 in case anybody is keeping score. Also, ocured in 3rd at 45k rpm Automotive tire Font Gas Office ruler Electronic component

I have them in my 16. They have performed flawlessly so far. I need to pull them and check the gap for wear but I am stock and put them in at 28 thousandths so it will be interesting to see what they’re at when I pull them.

I'll admit much of my thinking dates back to 1960's but back then with the copper core plugs re-gapping was largely a waste of time. Often resulting in short use after putting them back as the gaps quickly grew to be worse. Figured they took a heat set and after warming up to full temperature they went back to excessive gaps. Always replaced them if expecting to put mileage on, plugs even today are not that costly. KM

That is why I pull, check, but put in new. I figure why waste the labor on reusing old plugs. KM

OHH, small hands would be a big help! Especially on the rear passenger side plug. KM

I am waiting on someone to chime in with "I rebuilt my first transmission when I was 9" haha
Many of us were in our teens when the transmission was invented…. 👴

Helping pull engines at 14 on the farm, funniest was when they didn’t get the timing right and the old International back fired through the carb. Burnt cousins brother in laws eyebrows clear off.
