Sure he liked you! He trusted you with fuel. Why else would he let you help?My Daddy always made me pour gas in the carb while he cranked the engine. I don't think he liked me.

It’s ok if he knows how to properly time the engine lol.My Daddy always made me pour gas in the carb while he cranked the engine. I don't think he liked me.
Ya he would just make guess adjustments to the distributorIt’s ok if he knows how to properly time the engine lol.
I've done that in a pinch a few times.Ya he would just make guess adjustments to the distributor![]()
This is weird, I was literally just researching these an hour ago then I come on here and see this post.Anyone tried these plugs? Always had good luck with NGK so I’m tempted to try ‘em.

No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last nightI am waiting on someone to chime in with "I rebuilt my first transmission when I was 9" haha
agreed, idle and part throttle are both much improved. These NGK ruthenium are the best plugs ive run in the ecoboost engines. MPT turned me on to them and I dont plan to try anything else. Expecting to switch everything I own over to these plugsPretty crazy how much smoother idle is now with these.
I was skeptical that everybody was hyping them up on the forums/pages but now I'm a believer. I'm going to order a few sets just to have on hand.agreed, idle and part throttle are both much improved. Next set will be Ruthenium’s. Truck doesn’t run smooth on Motorcraft plugs.I was skeptical that everybody was hyping them up on the forums/pages but now I'm a believer. I'm going to order a few sets just to have on hand.
Now that I've gotten a few miles on them my idle has gotten a little rougher again but still nothing like it was before with the Motorcraft.Next set will be Ruthenium’s. Truck doesn’t run smooth on Motorcraft plugs.
Are you still using the plugs and if so, still a believer?I was skeptical that everybody was hyping them up on the forums/pages but now I'm a believer. I'm going to order a few sets just to have on hand.
I am, I just installed them four days ago. I've only got a couple hundred miles on them but so far at this point they will be the plugs I continue to use.Are you still using the plugs and if so, still a believer?
I checked all mine before I installed them and they were all perfectly just at or very slightly under 0.030, (also a first, pass brands/plugs seems like I always had to adjust some of the gaps out of the boxes) so I left them where they were. Are those of you that are running these running them with the gap they came with or are you gapping them to a certain spec?
Any different procedure when gapping them?

I wonder how the NGK ILTR7N8 (95822) (SP-542 Equivalent) compare to the NGK LTR6BHX (90495)...... The more I read up on Motorcraft vs NGK plugs I am more and more convinced they are a much better plug option for our tuned ecoboost with far less gap issues over mileage and misfire/foul issues. It looks like the NGK LTR7BHX (95605) are a step colder than the NGK LTR6BHX (90495), if I am researching correctlyI am, I just installed them four days ago. Some of it could be just completely placebo effect but everything seems smoother all around engine wise.
