Recently installed the Turbosmart bov and now the truck is making a chuffing sound (best way I can describe it). I have already done the intake/exhaust/intercooler/tune with no issues but this noise just started with the BOV install. The noise is steady at idle and under load it goes away. Anyone know if this is normal, what is causing it, or a fix?

Is it coming directly from the Bov? If so, tighten the top to make the spring rate higher and then if that is not it, there is some kinda leak. Check everything again

Contacted the manufacturer. Turns out the hose they provide for the EVAP purge line is much softer than the OEM line, not any less quality but no sound dampening. It expands and contracts and that's whats making the noise. Easy fix though. Added a brass 5/16 tee to route the BOV vacuum line to the stock EVAP purge hose.
