I've got a 2013 F150 Ecoboost. I recently purchased a Rigid 10" led light bar for it. I mounted it dead center where the license plate used to be mounted. A few nights ago, a buddy asked if there were any adverse ramifications to me sticking a light right in the middle of the intake for the intercooler. Having no clue how to answer the question, or if I've just done something that I shouldn't have, I refer now to the giant collective brain.

I would say its fine if you leave the truck totally stock and no power adders.
Reason i say that is Ford thinks the intercooler on our 2013 is to efficient anyway.
That is why you will find the top 1/3 of the intercooler blocked off.

I would also say this is the first i have seen this as it kinda defeats the purpose of an intercooler

I had a 20" E-series in my CAC gap for several weeks before my FR CAC came in, and I didn't notice any true rise in intake air temperatures.

You shouldn't see any major side effects to having your light mounted there, also we require output pics!
