Yep. It's a Hideout 26LHSWE. (2020 Keystone Hideout LHS (West) 26LHSWE) <--- Mine is the 2018 model but weight and GVWR limits about the same. 30' tip to tail. About 6k dry (5800 according to my door sticker/spec sheets) and just over 7 right there.. I know that because I had it weighed at the scale on a previous trip lol. It uses 3500# axles with 14" wheels which is how I think they got to their 7620 GVWR (7000# max over axles and another 10-ish% over the hitch). Wish I purchased one with beefier axles/15" wheels but this was our first trailer.. we now have a list as long as our arm on the things we'll be looking for in our next trailer lol.

It's lightweight for what it is.. which I'm clearly learning means lack of quality.. given it's only 4 years old and the floor by the kitchen sags now when you walk over it due to lack of support underneath and that cheap styrofoam layered floor junk they used. Another stresser in my life right now LOL. We got it for a steal though - brand new off the lot for $18,500 - so worst case we sell it and get something different.

Haven't really checked out the liners too seriously, but with BF around the corner, I will!

F450 laid down on us. I towed the skid steer 20 miles home. The truck and the 2.7 did fine. My dad called and said if I wanted to try it it would sure help to get it home...so I did.

Google says the skid steer is 8055 lbs, and the trailer is not light. I think it's 20', has two 10k lbs axles. It's at least 3,000 lbs because my lighter duty 20' trailer is 2,000 lbs.

It's all in managing that tongue weight
Oh definitely! Still a lot to put behind a truck rated to tow 7500 though. Google list the skid steer as 8055. He says the 4 in 1 bucket adds 500-600, and it has 200 lbs in suitcase weights. If I had to guess this was all over 12,000 lbs.

And my neighbor said I'd struggle to tow his 3000lb dump trailer 😆. He's got a super duty for his 5th wheel. As we stood next to my 7000ish lb loaded camper 🙄. It helps when you load them right like yours was! And also amazing what that little 2.7 will do!

I was thoroughly impressed. Obviously I don't need to do this unless it's our last option, but it's nice to know I can if i or we need me to. I live in the foothills and we have a lot of steep hills on our country roads. I climbed a few of them and I am happy with both the power and the way it handled. Ran no more than 55.

So if someone were to ask your honest opinion on an Ecoboost f150 today...what would you say? You've had a lot of overheating problems too haven't you?

I haven't bad mouthed the EB any more than I was before mine blew up. I know I abused mine in many ways(towing hard, towing hard tuned, etc) so when it happened I certainly didnt take it personally.

That said, I dont know if I would buy another. I dont know if thats because I don't like the EB or just that I expected too much and I need more truck. It's not like I would go buy a 5.0 or any other 1/2 ton V8 either.

Edit, although a whippled 5.0 with hd payload would be super cool, I don't know that it would be better than an EB in terms of cooling and not sending a rod through the block.
