The Forscan shot is towing on a flat road at 62 mph in 4th gear. The wind was so strong i was at an air load 1.5. That’s normally where its at pulling a big grade

Picked up a hitchhiker last night. There were tumbleweeds blowing across the highway just like in the roadrunner cartoon

How'd the coolant leak go?
Was it the other radiator?
Yeah it seems to be the other radiator. This was a 320 mile drive and didnt lose any coolant

What's your payload? Curious how it handles the gooseneck, but I think I already know that answer 🤣
The goose is rated for 14K, The trick is to not load it all the way. Here I am just moving dirt from the back to the top of the hill. Driving across the pasture at low speeds.
Loaded appropriately on the high way, tires aired up to 80psi, it is stable. You defiantly know it’s there, but the truck handles it no problem and comfortably.
I prefer goosenecks to bumper pull any day of the week and twice on Sundays. She (the truck) is good for 10K with a 1K pin weight in that config. per manufacture specs. I do like more than 10% pin weight though, 15% is where I like it.
With the dump, what I have noticed is that if I do load it all the way then the dump piston struggles and if I move the load to the rear to ease the dump, the the pin is unweighted and towing is squirrelly.

My truck loved this trailer, pulled it like a dream. On this day, there was around 5k inside the trailer and my fully loaded toolbox in the bed. I was definitely overweight 🤣

And this was the day I drove 3 and a half hours to Pendleton to pick up a new (to me) lathe. Truck got a bit warm over Deadman but we made it.

How do you like the Geo sport?
Pleasantly surprised by the build quality compared to other trailers I've owned in the past. Lots of nice little touches like keyless door button pad, built in door window shade, twin 200w solar panels with inverter and lots of other little things.
I didn't realize that it had independent suspension until after I bought it. Looks like a regular axle but is actually a torsion axle. Which will be easy enough to lift if I decide to go to bigger tires later.
