Anyone know if the OEM fox shocks off a raptor will fit a 2013 FX2?

The rear will fit with no modification.

The front you will need raptor upper and lower control arms.

If you don't there will too much pressure on your suspension and the shocks won't work correctly.

Not to mention extended axles, tie rods and break lines if your 4x4

Any reason I would want these over bilstein 5100 in the rear?

You can't compare, the raptor shocks are bypass valve.

Much smoother ride

The bilstien 5150's run a bypass too, but the Fox 2.5's are on another level...

He said they will retail @ $2,575

As far as availability, it sounds like they have them ready. They just been too busy to update the site I guess?

I emailed them and told them there's interest on the site.

Hoping for forum discount? Lol

I'm sure you will, but you gotta pick your poison.

Raptor wasn't designed for towing in mind
The shocks will not hurt your payload, but if you swap out the leaf springs to the raptor or AAL sets you will lose a lot of payload capability.

You sure Pinero?

Me and my boss swapped his leaf springs for some deavers on his raptor and the stock ones look exactly the same as mine. Same amount of leafs.

Almost 100%. I was looking a deavers for my fronty, but I would've lost the majority of my already terrible payload. The shocks just help with reboud rates and dampening. You shouldn't lose much, if any payload with the factory raptor shocks. I may be wrong though, I haven't been looking into mid-long travel for very long.

The easy solution to towing with long travel is the bags that SDHQ puts out for the raptor.

Pinero what benefits would a 3.0 shock have over the 2.5s

Just wondering if I should go with a raptor LCA or the dirt king LCA for upgraded shocks.
