4546 miles from Austin to Keystone Co, to Los Angeles back to Keystone and then Austin. Mainly highway, 70-75mph, 24.8mpg per truck computer. Pretty consistent with the prior 34,000 miles. And the ability to leave NA Chevy's and Rams behind going uphill in the Rockies is always a plus. Can't beat forced induction at altitude.

$86 bucks roughly to fill 36gal tank.

Average 19mpg @ cruise controlled / 71mph (wife was with me....)

Try $110 up here.

some of these high miles like 24mpg makes me think you guys got 2x's. I'd be lucky to push 18 coasting and cruise control with new plugs and filters on my 4x4

Hello! My 2018 F-150, 3.5 ltr. Ecoboost, XLT 2Wd get's an average 18.5 miles per gallon here in Atlanta, stop and go traffic. When I travel long stretches, I get 22 miles average. And I usually ride at 80+ miles an hour on the interstate.
My 2011
F-150, 3.5 ltr. Ecoboost, XLT FX2, 2Wd only got 15 to maybe 17 miles per gallon.
A world of difference. However, the 2018 is in the shop at 23500 with a timing chain tensioner/ phasers rattle. So ford gave me a 2019 F-150 Lariat, 4WD 3.5 liter. loaner with 1350 miles fully loaded that does the same thing when it starts up!! its gas mileage suck's! 15.4 is the best I could get!
Unbelievable.

My '13 SCrew 4x4 3.5 EcoBoost with 120,000 still gets 20+ if i stay below 65. Bump up to 75 and it's 19 to 19.5. Cross 75 and it goes down. Around town with moderate stop & go traffic, it's 16 to 17.5.

My 2019 Limited gets between 20 and 21 mpg between 75 and 80 mph on the lie-ometer. Havent done a hand calculation yet to see how that may differ. On the rural roads around here with some stop and go, 18 to 19, driven sanely.

Well, this is not bad, I think. I was told by a friend of a friend of my friend that he was going on, I was very surprised

The one thing that stands out in my 2011 3.5 Ecoboost, and thanks to the computer, not every tank of gas is created equal, but I range from 12.5 to 15 around town, and while cruising through Wyoming pulling a light utility trailer, I got as high as 24 (real gas, I think), but my typical mixed mileage is between 15-16 mpg.

This happened driving north on I-75 a few years ago, taken after driving for about 90 miles. I've never been able to repeat that.

Was pretty happy with this, a tank of E30 running my 5 star E30 blend tune.

From the ocean to the mountains here in the West Coast, from home to
163250
Monterey and Bodega Bay all the way up to Lake Tahoe and Carson City and back home again and all the driving in between.

2019 F150 3.5 EcoBoost XLT crew cab 6.5 foot bed 4x4 with about 1,200 lb of people and luggage and firewood for a good part of the trip.

Lifetime Average (Non-Towing Hand Calculated)

SCab XL Sport 4x4 2.7EB 6R80 3.55
22.1 mpg

Screw XLT Sport 4x4 3.5EB 10R80 3.55
20.5 mpg

My driving is roughly equal thirds of small town, rural two lanes and interstate.

So we know what these trucks are rated at from the factory, however what kind of gas mileage have you been getting in the real world?
I know this is an older thread but this still seems to be a very common topic. So I thought I would give some info on a trip I just took. From Fairview, NC to Greenville, AL which is about 410 miles I averaged 21.5 mpg hand calculated and driving in Sport mode. From Greenville to south of New Orleans, about 290 miles, 19.7 mpg driving in Sport mode.
My driving was 5 over the posted. Atlanta traffic was stop and go at about 7am. I think total driving time was 10.5 to 11 hours.

Tuck in my sig. Running 60mph flat road no wind, it will pull 19mpg running 70 mph no wind flat road it will do 17mpg. you start adding hills and wind and it falls. I usually average 16.5 crusing around here between 60-70 mph

So I guess you have a 2.7?
