Next week I'm taking a road trip with my Boost. I'm going from Michigan to Minnesota to see some friends i was in the Army with. It's gonna be about a 1500 mile round trip.

2011 SuperCrew XLT, 23,000 miles, Mobile 1 Full Syn, 3.55 gears, not towing anything. The truck is pretty much stock.

Very happy with an Avg MPG of 22.9. I drove 70 on expressway and 62, 63 the rest of the trip.

Based on your drive time and overall miles...you only averaged 54.14 mph. I was quite impressed with your fuel mileage before I calculated it out.

(1533 miles / 1699 mins) * 60 mph = 54.14 mph avg

Maybe your drive time was not correct???

Remember that the timer doesn't stop if you're sitting still. So, if you spent 5% of that time at stop lights, you'd have to subtract that out for a real average speed. I hate average/mean calculations - the only real advantage is that they're easy. Median would be much more useful.

Well I sure didn't break any land speed records. Like it said before, I drove 70 on the interstate and 62, 63 on two lane roads. The 70 mph was about 360 miles of the 1533. I wrote the numbers down when I got home, they are correct.

Just drove from NC to OH to drop my son off at school. 2011 screw xlt 4x4. Fully loaded with furniture, luggage, and 3 adults. Averaged 21.5 on the nearly 600 mile trip running between 60-75 as the speed limit permitted. Very happy with that!

Wow! that is amazing for a 4x4. We a have the max tow - I can get about 18.5 at 75 on the interstate. The 3:73s do have an affect, but we tow and plan to tow bigger (Keystone Cougar - about 9,000 lbs when loaded). Glad you had a great trip - keep on boost'in.
