Im looking into a CAI... the AFE stage 2 Pro 5R (oiled dual cone setup) is 350-400 and the S&B is about 300. The S&B seems better but has NO HP or Torque increase claims. Does anyone know what one is better or what one would you chose?

hahahaon a serious note I have an S&B and I like it alot. But like everyone said here they are pretty much for show regardless of the brand. There is really no gain from them unless you have a tune. But if you want noise go AFE if you want something with better filtration go S&B. In the end I got mine because it looked cool and it will make more noise when i am tuned.

Rodney did you paint up your engine cover or have someone do it? Looks good but its missing in the S&B photo?

Yeah I took it off one day and never put it back on I still have it. Painted the same color as my truck. I actually bought that cover from stage 3 over a year ago when they offered them.
