I have a 2023 Limited F 150 PowerBoost.
It has had a shake at highway speeds in the steering wheel and felt in the doors/seats, since day 1. I own two other f150s, both 2022 King Ranch FX4s that ride perfectly smooth at highway speeds.
The dealership kept saying no issue, so I did have the tires balanced myself and the shake got better in the steering wheel but not in the seats. It eventually came back and was worse in the steering wheel, the dealership finally decided to road force balance the tires and they were way out. This only fixed it for a short period in the steering wheel. So instead of dealing with them any more, I swapped the General tires for Michelins this last week, at my expense. The steering shake is completely gone but the cab/seat/door vibration remains.
They say they can’t replicate it, which I’ve heard before on many occasions so I figure I’m on my own with this. I love the truck so I would just like some insight from the forum and potentially Ford Service Corporate on this issue. Is this potentially the drive shaft issue I’ve heard about? At this point I don’t mind even paying for a diagnosis to get this resolved.
