Found one on amazon for $25. Read some threats about cutting it down.

Would not sacrafice sound quality, but would enjyo a better, one that is smaller?

I went with a billet 9" shorty, and I didn't notice any loss in reception.

Put a 9" shorty on and the case wash took it off lol, been running without one for a month and even drove to Denver from Dallas roundtrip and have no loss of signal

We cut ours on the show cars...

I pulled mine off and tossed it in the back floorboard for several days. The audiobook on my iPhone wasn't impacted... ? LOL!

I don't listen to am/fm anyway, and with the hood mounted lights I have to run a shorty to keep the light from reflecting off of the antenna.
