Has anyone experienced a chemical smell when turning on the heat or ac? I have a 2013 purchased July of '13 and the smell started about 5 weeks ago.

I have the 2011 ecoboost ,and I started smelling the manure like smell every time I turn the engine on ad the fan starts running .It oes away after a minute or so but it is a BAAAD smell.Will call the dealer today though

Having this same issue with mine right now. Seems to go away shortly after starting the truck. Not sure if it actually goes away or I just get used to it.

Have you ever mentioned the odor to your dealer? What's your truck's model year and mileage? I'll look into some ways to help clear the air.
