I have a 2018 2.7 Ecoboost. Recently I noticed it had smoke coming out of the exhaust at start up (about 5 seconds) after sitting over night. I just replaced the driver side turbo oil return tube and let it sit overnight. I started it up this morning and had smoke came out of the exhaust still. I noticed while replacing it there was some oil in the intercooler. I haven’t noticed oil consumption. Just wondering what the issue could be. I really don’t want to have ford look at it and charge me at minimum $149 just to tell me what’s wrong.

Have you taken it on a good drive after replacing your turbo feed line? It would be a good idea before searching out more issues as it might just be residual oil left over. Recommend taking it on a 2 hr highway drive and vary load/rpm. Make it work and see what remains after that.
