Snagged some Bronco Takeoffs

I was looking for 35x11.5’s for my next set of tires and it turns out that the LT315/70R17 Territory MT’s from the Bronco Sasquatch are a very narrow 315. In fact, the published tread width is 9.2” while a 35x11.5 Toyo is 9”. My current 315/70 KO2 is listed at 10”.

The other benefit is that they are allegedly 52 lbs. my KO2’s were already pretty light at 62 lbs but thats a substantial difference.

oh and they were only $1000 for 5

Why the desire to go with skinnier tires? Weight savings are almost always a plus.

Rolling resistance, weight and clearance. i was still getting a slight rub once in a while and I think the narrower tread will help.

I didnt see a need to have the full width 315’s other than looks. I had them because they were already on the VenomRex wheels i got for an absolute steal.

I like the additional contact patch in anything that I'm looking for lateral g's.

This truck? Not so much. Although the visual appeal I can't deny.

The reasons you stated ring with me.

I guess I'm a pizza cutter truck guy with this one.
I considered going wider than oem last week, when I had the opportunity to put anything I wanted on the truck. Ended up sticking with OEM size.

Yeah, the contact patch on my old 305/50-20 Toyo Open country at3's was ridiculously wide. I think that's why I lost zero milage compared to the 315/70-17 ko2's
