I was told by the dealer that SP-578's are replacing the SP-542's (stock 2.7 plugs). The problem is that they are a heat range hotter AND a different tip type. I just don't get what Ford is doing!!!
@jwkhd1 From everything I have been told, if you had 535's Stock, they should have put in 580's. But who knows, maybe there is bulletin to put colder plugs (578's) in your HO engine.

I had my parts guy hunt down 2 dozen SP-542's as that's what my tuners want me to run.
