35" tires are a no go.. rub on the fender both front and back doing sharp parking lot type turns.

There are some great YouTube videos on scrub angle.
I'd watch them. Then possibly reconsider running spacers.

just let some air out the tires so it doesn't rub as hard.

Trying to convince the bank of that VERY thing.. but she's not falling for it... yet.
I'd really like a proper 4" BDS myself. My bank (I'm the banker, unfortunately) isn't falling for it either.

What are the size of the tires and how much and where is the rub?

35" tires.. hard left cornering (think parking lot) the back of the left tire rubs on the back at the mudflap.. And the front of the tire rubs on the front of the wheel well.. vice versa for right cornering.. no issues on the road..

Hmmm that’s odd I just installed 305/55/20 tires on the factory rims and it barely rubs if u got the wheel cranked all the way to the stop either way. But it rubs the upper ball joints not the bumper or wheel well. No spacers and a 2” level kit. Am thinking of getting 1.5” spacers to eliminate the rub on ball joints
