You guys may have seen this on another forum, but we want as many F150s as we can get. So bring your ecoboost and lets hit the trails...

We here at Stage 3 Motorsports love to go out and have some fun off-road with our trucks, though usually we go off on our own. This time we're inviting you. All of you, in fact. On April 26th, 2014, we here at Stage 3 are holding a Trail Day up at Greasy Spoon Trail between Cottonwood and Sedona, Arizona. The trail is rated "moderate" by our Arizona trail handbook and should be a good time for just about anyone who tags along. The only real restriction is that we're requiring four wheel drive. We'll meet at the trailhead at 9:30am and hit the dirt. The trail ought to take 1-1/2 to 2 hours, after which we'll head up to Sedona proper for lunch and disperse from there. We're planning on having free giveaways for anyone who shows up and we'll be raffling off some cool gear. We're still nailing down some of the final details, and we'll have a form for you to fill out if you're planning to attend. Anyway, here's the skinny:
Location:
From Sedona:
Head west on 89A about 3 miles to Dry Creek Road. Set odometer to zero and go north 2.9 miles to T intersection and turn left. At 4.5 miles turn left again at another T intersection. Continue west after pavement ends and 6.4 miles. At 7.6 miles, Road 152A on left is the start of the trail.
From Cottonwood AZ:
From 260, go northeast 8.9 miles on 89A. Turn left on 525 and go 3.2 miles to 9513 on right.
Start Time: 9:30 am
Trail Time: 1.5 hours
Required Equipment: 4 Wheel Drive
Lunch Time: 12:00 Noon
Lunch Location: TBD
Give Aways just for showing up:

  • $100.00 Stage 3 Motorsports.com Gift Card
  • Stage3Motorsports.com T-Shirt
  • Other gear TBD
Raffles:

That's all we have for now. Stay tuned for more updates and most specific information as we get more details worked out and see who all is planning on joining us on this little adventure. He's some video of the trail that we grabbed while out on a test run:

I would totally go but every Saturday starting last week I run wrestling tournaments for our local USA Wrestling organization until end of May.
I have an FX4 but never really do any off road stuff, wife wants to get some AZ pinstriping badly on her truck. :p
I'd opt out of the raffles of course :D

Wow this sounds bad ass. Thinking about heading down from Denver. I have family in Chandler and wouldn't mind ripping some AZ terrain

I know where I'll be if I'm state-side.

What's the restriction on Mopars?

Sounds like fun! I would have to take 6 days off work to go, if it was a different weekend it might be possible.

This looks like fun! Wish I could be there! This whole 'living in Alaska' thing kind of makes it hard to drive to anything...

I wish it wasn't across the country or I would gladly take off for this!

I get what you're saying. Maybe we could get some more people and roll up in a group.
