Hey guys, just picked up a 12. Just curious what the factory shift points are. It seems at wot it is lazy to shift and goes to 6k. Is that normal? First Ecoboost. Thanks. Shifts fine and smooth under all other driving conditions, no codes.

Yes, all stock as far as I know. Doubt it has a tune. Yes wondering about wot RPM.
Edit: Has a cheap eBay intake on it that will be replaced soon with stock or aftermarket.
There are also offsets and hysteresis that will slightly alter the actual point when the shift commands and when it completes, as well as some learning for the shift time.
Awesome man, thanks. I think they just feel lazy. In reality I think it's defueling right before shifting. I read somewhere that Ford uses that strategy in the PSDs to help the trans live longer. It feels like a delay but I don't think it is.
Yes, there is a lot of torque management during shifting in stock form. Its meant to make it feel smooth and soft, not necessarily make it "live longer". The 6R80's are strong and can take a beating. Speeding up the shifts and raising the pressure some can actually prolong clutch life be allowing less slip/friction.
