i have a 2012 crew fx2 - fully loaded
bone stock - 40,xxx miles
i beat on this truck
last time i took it into service, complained about rough idle and bad fuel milage, they reflashed ecu and changed plugs..... its worse now!
so its out of warranty and time to mod...
I done some research and this is what i am going to start with:
change to a new set of plugs : (Sp534 or long part number CYFS12YT3 gap at .30) is this correct?
170 therostat, part number?
sct livewire - with a few mpt tunes
afe stage 2 CAI - but what type filter - pro 5 R - pro dry 7 or pro guard 7? which one - whats the difference?
going to replace/upgrade exhaust from y/downpipe to muffler (now 2.5") - removing resonator to a 3" - as i understand the muffler and rest of exhaust is 3" -
catch can in near future - need to research it more...
suggestions / concerns / comments? flame on...
