Everything stashed here is pretty much some type of project - gotta start working on these!
Most are for the truck, some for the old car, some for the house, some for upcoming Fall Harvest season - this year I’ll try to not only have a photo op pumpkin patch bit a faux corn maze for the little toddlers.

Oh! There is also a box of swag for the forum 10th anniversary celebration. More to come soon on that event!

Thanks @stereotype one ! That was a fun lunch meet up! We gotta get more of our a austin-area trucks and drivers together, more often.
And you’ve done a great job with your truck too. From the rodent deterrent under hood to the rear gnome house size exhaust tip I really like your truck!

Today was a simple install…
X Retractable stake pocket tie downs.

note - these are Bullring brand. Bullring makes a front pocket offset version, for trucks like mine (typically 6.5’ and 8’ beds) where the front pocket is not centered under the rail trim cover. That part number from Bullring is Model #4035
The rear units are Ford branded by Bullring. Part number VFL3Z-99000A64-D for a pair.

X Also put my tow hook rubber covers back on. Had to drop the front bumper to do this little task. Found previous owner had already cut the shutter cable?

Before - no rubber covers

I’ve always liked my current ‘18 F150’s predictable, moderate understeer when turning in aggressively. Best handling F150 I’ve had was a ‘94 Lightning. That was a truck body on a sports car. Very enjoyable to drive hard.
Today my ‘18 is approaching the overall handling feel I’m looking for. A lot to ask from a 157” truck, but I’m liking what it’s got so far!

If you want even more turn in, you can go aftermarket sway up front.
Or for sure get some front end alignment suggestions from GearHead_1

I realize the F150 doesn't have the range of adjustment a sports car does, but it might have enough to accentuate what you are looking for.

I like the steering to feel less assisted. Weighted if you will?
I think you have to sacrifice some self-centering to gain the weighting, but it's doable.

Today I installed a Front Hellwig sway bar and a pair of new Ford sway bar end links. I never want to do this again. Had to R&R the really heavy RCI skid plate with cat theft deterrent wings to get to the sway bar. That’s really awkward and heavy to R&R.

I really like the handling now that I have the front and rear Hellwigs, and rear Bilstein 5100's on. Very firmly "planted". The stance feels "wider: - more secure - and very predictable steering feel tossing it into a corner. Granted, I do feel more of the smallish ripples and bumps, but not anything of concern.

I was thinking about those big yellow bump stops… not Ark’s truck?
Nope - his are brown
