Texas Meet Up 2023 - anyone interested?

I may be in San Antonio around that time frame for work, but not with my truck. The week of the 16th and then possibly the week of the 23st. But probably not on the weekend unless I have to fly in Sunday night to be there for first thing Monday.

Sounds like fun, I could be convinced fairly easily! ROAD TRIP! KM

I'd be up for either if we're in town and depending on how far form Ft. Worth it is.

Depends on the location and if the family has any commitments for me.

I am going to be out of pocket from April 1st until July.

No shortage at all. Just challenging to get a location, date and time arranged.

Well, since Tejas is pretty big. Would it be easier to try bracketing by region?
Also, what are the interest/builds for the F-1 Fiddies? Street guys may not be interested in Overland guys and vice versa. Personally I sit somewhere in the middle, I like to think that my build is for an all around.
Some possible places, Sonic drive through. Maybe a track day, state park, heck maybe even a drive in movie. In my Jeeping days, there were monthly meet and greets and trail runs.
I’ll be heading back to Sea soon, but will be willing to try and set up something here in N. Tejas when I get back. Hopefully in July.
Now, to gauge interest.

Is the X button broken on your keyboard? Or is that a word thing like Fiddies? Us older people have a hard time keeping up with the new language that the younger generation make up.

Well being that Fiddy has been around and in use since the 90’s I don’t really know what to tell ya.
How that relates to the X button operation I don’t know.

In general: Texas = Tejas if you are a native Spanish speaker, typically from Mexico (Meh-he-ko).

Didn’t even think of that. Not a native Texan here, I came from across the river…..the Sabine River. My Lovely Bride came across the Rio though.
So, ideas on a meetup place? What is the usual thing, inside, outside, parking lot, restaurants?
Do ya’ll like hanging out around the trucks or going inside to BS?

I would prefer an outdoor meet up, to see the trucks up close and personal. Maybe a State Park or a restaurant parking lot. Or even a Buc-ee's location! They don't seem to mind tons of trucks in their parking lot. 🤠

Oh. Gotch ya. Never heard of it that way.
As for meeting up, I’d be all in but it’s over 24 hrs to drive there.
