Been on here for a long time never thought of doing this.

Bought back in august 2013. First truck ever. Never really knew much about towing or trucks in general. Gearing etc.

2011 F150 3.5 Tux black XLT 6.5' with 3.31 gears. No tow package other than a class III aftermarket receiver and the 7 pin/4 pin wiring. Came with a ford custom bak flip too.

First mod was Boost Bars:

Next came the Solo Performance Dual Mach X exhaust:


Then I added Husky weather beater liners front and back:

Tinted the front windows and sun strip:

Added a front 2" Hell Bent Steel lift and a 1" block stacked in the rear soon after to get a bit of rake back for towing and loading:

Drove it like that for quite awhile until I found a set of tires and wheels that would make the truck stand out. Ended up with 18" XD Spy wheels +18 offset. They look great. On 32" Kelly TSR LT tread:

Oh and added FX4 heads and tails:



After not finding a good deal on a used grill I decided to plasti-dip the outer shell and added an OEM bug deflector and dipped the reflectors in the mirrors:


Also upgraded the receiver to a class IV oem unit that bolts into the bumper:


Last mod so far was ditching the Ecoboost emblems and XTR quarter panel stickers:


And that's it so far.

Next mods will be:

RX or UPR catch Can
Transmission cooler OEM or aftermarket
Brake controller OEM or aftermarket
Black Aries step bars or Nfab.
Black mesh Grill with ford oval on it.
33" AT tires when the Kellys die.

Like but probably will never get:

OEM or Retroed HID's
Stock windshield. (Mine was replaced with aftermarket)
Leather seat covers with heated inserts

Nice looking wheels! Although I am a little partial to them.. I have them as well!



I went with 305/55/20s on mine and I could of went with 305/70/20s to fill the gap a little more. Also, go with the RX catch can. You will have to wait maybe a month or so for one, but they can tailor it for your needs. I got mine color-matched to my truck for no charge.

REALLY tempted to order a set of the Husky mats. The set I had in my '13 Ram worked flawlessly.

This is clean, not seen at all like other set ups in bumpers etc. You just tap into reverse wire and a 12v ground? Where is the reverse wire?

I really need more light asap.

Are you running the stock size tires on your truck, how do you like the Kelly Tires?

Yup 275/65r18 the Kelly's are a good tire but not in the snow. Too hard of a compound. In 4x4 I'm fine but I have to really feather the throttle starting on snow.

New mods to come one day are OEM tuxedo black flares which I picked up cheap and a 4" BDS lift with Fox 2.0 rear shocks. Can't wait. Picked it up for $400. Needs a couple small parts but I'll make it work.

Namely. The weld in gusset and front diff vent tube extension. Got to go over all the parts tomorrow.

My current XD rims will. Work just fine the XD Spy they are 18x 8.5 with 5.4 back space and +18 offset. Should be okay. Going to run 34's when the 32s die.

I added the same backup lights, what a difference over the OE JUNK.
Truck is coming along very nicely.

Finally got the last few parts in for the BDS lift kit thanks to North shore Off Road out in Vancouver BC. Still deciding on new coil overs or not or just install with the spacers. The weld in bracket is actually pretty beefy. 3/16 steel. .

Oh can't wait for the warm weather.

Great looking truck...looks like your getting a little supervision jacking the truck up. My chocolate lab is the same way and loves to go for a ride. We spell ride in our house if we say it both labs are at the front door going in circles.
