I won't speculate on how far your SCAB is overweight. But, I can assure you that your W/D hitch isn't properly sized or setup.

Yes, you can pull it, but

Don't do this at home, kids.

I saw a tundra today(wasn’t squatting as bad) with a fifth wheel trailer with a boat behind it, and I thought he was unsafe but this one beat that.

I can't believe the driver thinks that is acceptable/safe to drive.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they are high tailing away from somewhere or someone under duress and didn't have a choice? Like trying to hide from the tax man, or soon to be ex in-laws. It happens, I've been told.
But it is still extremely unsafe, whatever reason they had.

Some guy on the GX group on facebook is attempting to tow a 34’, 6000 lb dry trailer with his 2007 GX.

I hope he starts off heading downhill.

no joke. My GX has another 30 hp and its taxed trying to do 65 on a flat freeway 24’ 4200 lb dry trailer

The weight and HP don’t set off the alarm for me so much as the disparity in wheelbases.

My MIL put a 33’ travel trailer and the 90 K5 Blazer she was towing it with on their roofs on a Utah interstate. Sure was a sweet Blazer right up to that point though.

My trailer is right at the limits of what I would wanna tow with my GX. If I do use the GX to to I dont take it on the open freeway. Theres too many downsides: wheelbase, gas tank size, power, etc.

The GX is pretty heavy and has very stout sway bars so its pretty stable for its size. Its actually more comfortable on twisty mountain passes than my F150
