It is, however the at2 is the newest version from parent company toyo. I enjoy my at2s and they work really well on all surfaces and conditions for general purposes. i will be switching to a more aggressive tread for looks mostly.

Add: in order to keep thread on topic, my vote is at2 it looks better and has better tread. more aggressive and has newer compound (not sure yet if the nitto has switched compound yet)

They got incredibly loud, had terrible wet weather traction, and the tread wore down much faster than expected.

I'm trying to make that exact same decision myself. I have been leaning towards the Nitto Terra Grappler XLs. They are only 45lbs per tire and only have a 100lb less weight capacity vs. 52lbs for the 10plys and 53lbs for Toyo 10plys

I'm on my second set of Nittos and have loved them. This set has 24k miles on them and still super quiet and I'd say about half tread.

They got slick in the rain, and loud on the highway fairly early in the tread life.

I have a buddy that had nittos on his 2500 dodge. Hated them only got 16000 miles out of whole set. Toyos are a heavier tire but they are i better tire
