Before we get started, yes I’m aware of differences between 4a and 4h, this discussion is not meant to become an argument between the merits of both like some of the other swap threads I’ve seen.
Is the 4a transfer case in the Lariats the same unit as in the Raptor? I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer. Has anyone swapped a Raptor Tcase into an XLT? I’m wondering if it’s possible to get the drive modes and AWD system the Raptor in my 17’ xlt. I know I should just buy a Raptor but I want to keep the payload and towing of my XLT, not to mention it’s paid off and I hate payments.
