Transfer Case swap, Lariat+ Vs Raptor difference?

Yes. The transfer cases are the same. The only thing that matters is that it can only work with the 10R80. Stupid Fast Truck on YouTube did the TC swap to a Coyote XLT. You can find the video here.

For the road bias to really be effective my understanding is that the front diff will need to be upgraded to an LSD. The article talks about how the Raptor case was special because when it’s in 4h it’s mechanically locked like my standard esof case. I’m wondering if the lariat case is clutch pack only for 4h or does it have the same internals as the Raptor part. Idk I’m digging into the weeds here. Seeing the two part listings at a different price and with Raptor specifying 4LOC it’s leading me to believe they’re different. Idk
I believe the 4LOC you're referring to is the 2-speed 4HI-LOC you see in the usage section. That's just a nomenclature description for the part. And as far as the price goes, it might be because of the dealership you're set to. The dealership I have it set to shows the same exact price for both Lariat and Raptor VINs. Also, the road bias is all in the transfer case due to the clutches allowing the slip needed for turning. The LSD they added in the front is optional and really only beneficial in niche situations like running a sand track in 4A. If you're using it on dry pavement, you wouldn't really need it because torque distribution wouldn't be off. For my 2018, I just replaced my e-locker with a Truetrac for that extra traction when I need it. I do plan on swapping out my TC in the future just for simple fact I can have 4-wheel launches whenever/wherever.
