Sometimes when letting off the throttle and quickly snapping the throttle back open a 'tap' sound is heard.

Is this sound coming from the check valves in the braided lines?

Just a bit anxious after installing this system...

Thanks.

Could it be the noise of your waste gates closing?

I have never heard mine but a couple members say they can hear the slight click in the same circumstance.

Maybe I'm looking for a problem lol. I can't recall hearing the noise before the install, but I never really listened to it as closely before. I bet you could be right...

EDIT: I guess I should have mentioned that this is a 2014 Ecoboost with 8000 miles on it...

Is it coming from the engine bay? Mine truck clicks sometimes when I let off the gas after hitting it decently hard...but its from the rear differential that I don't feel like having the dealership waste my time saying they couldn't hear anything to fix.

Does it sound 'kind of' similar to the click heard hear at 2-3 seconds?

Yeah, it's definitely from the engine bay. When the truck is sitting still an pumping the accelerator the sound is heard. I'm going to try to explain... Press throttle to rev decently-> as idle comes back, snap throttle slightly-> tap sound heard

I hope that makes sense.
