the X4 is now wifi capable and has dual inputs
the old x3 has pretty much the same capability minus thos 2 things

also the X4 is new and has a bunch of quarks that you never hear anybody talking about with the older one

it depends on what you got to spend but that a steal of a deal from a reputable tuner
both hold 10 custom tunes
