It's probably just me, but knowing the work involved, I wouldn't even consider having the old part (known to have its own issues) off and in my hand and not replace it. My Father used to say, "Don't stumble over dollars picking up dimes." Anyway...

Yes I was. 😁

I did see where they do sometimes leak out the back side too so I'll just bite the bullet and get a whole new unit and some Permatex 82180 Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV and hopefully it'll be gfood for another 100k miles.

Just to add, current part number that, according to Tasca Parts and Parts.Ford.com, cross refernce are:
BPRV23
and
DL3Z-2A451-B

Power Brake Booster Vacuum Pump - 3.5l.
Part #: BRPV23 (DL3Z2A451B)

Usage: 10/20/2014 - 09/26/2016, F-150, 3.5L DOHC T/C V6 Gas;10/20/2014 - 09/26/2016, F-150, 3.5L V6 GTDI

Odd that one place showed DL3Z-2A451-B not to fit the 2015.
