I have a really weird humming/grinding noise that comes with a slight vibration in the steering wheel and pedals. It doesn't seem to happen with braking or steering just on and off occasionally. It sounds like it's from the front of the truck. Seems to be at no specific speed but more noticeable at city speeds 20-45. Anyone else have anything like this?

Does it go away when in 4x4, if it does it's an IWE. We also have been having issues with our front pinion bearings in the front diff. Grab onto the front driveshaft and see if there is any play in that front pinion.

I noticed my front diff oil was a milky white color at 3K miles.

If it looks kinda grayish in color that's normal due to the gear marking compound used at the factory.
