Pulled the brakes apart on the rear, and I have the rotors set aside to be dropped off and turned at the shop Monday.

Changed the oil, cleaned the air filter, and started spraying the bolts on my downpipes and pulled the 2 year old box out of the attic and opened it up. Verified all parts are there for my new downpipes.

Today I dropped the spare tire to check it out. Used vehicles are a lot like getting a dog from the pound. You love it, but you don’t know all of its history. Like - was the spare ever used? Does it have air in it? Will it hold air if I add more? Do I know how to assemble the 4 piece handle to use to turn the cable and drop the tire? Do I know where the handle goes?
So I decided to check it all out today, in daylight, on my driveway, in a non emergency situation.
It’s been used before - marks on lug and center hole. The air was at 30. Aired up to 35 and it held for 30 minutes. Tread is hood but had small pebbles stuck in between treads.
All a-ok. I even hosed it off.
Good doggie.

Great reminder. I need to pull mine down tomorrow and check it out. I've had the truck for over 2 years it's past due.

I also need to change the cabin and engine air filters, oil change next week along with tire rotation. See what you started! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Changed my oil, replaced the plugs and cabin air filter. Pennzoil Platinum FS 5w-30, WIX oil filter, SP580's gapped at .28 and a WIX cabin filter.

I do the oil every 3k or so. It was 3,250mi this time because I was busy. Should get me through the winter.

I also washed and vacuumed it.

Put new spark plugs in and gave her a bath. Old plugs had about 40k on them and were still performing great. They looked perfect, and the gap had opened up from .029" to .035"

Oil change. Thought I was at 3000 miles but I guess I was only at 2600 miles since last oil change, oh well

Fluid change in front diff and transfer case. Both appeared to need it pretty badly at 54k miles. I think I'll do the transfer case sooner next time, maybe every 20-30k.

All that is left is the trans itself. I don't feel like dealing with it so I'll probably just have it done at the dealership.

Treated the leather, checked the air in the spare tire and gave the Amsoil a level check. I'm so thankful my truck uses no oil.
