Removed the B&O sub and enclosure. I am eagerly awaiting the UPS truck Thursday for a possible replacement for the stock driver. Trying out both Kicker and Rockford Fosgate along with some poly fill in the enclosure. Lets see what happens. If there is little change that's ok. Any excuse to tinker with the truck. :)

Not having it in the truck really reduces the lows. I knew it would but not that much.

The speakers I ordered are a dual 2 ohm voice coil model since I still have the stock "amp"

Kiddo and I washed my truck today. He wanted to be a big boy and use the pressure washer spray wand and was really helpful with the sponge and soapy water bucket. I let him do it his way. We had fun. Monday when he goes to preschool I’ll need to rewash it. Wouldn’t trade today for anything though.

That's what it's all about right there.
As my dad used to say, "these (those) are the good old times"

Not sure what's going on I've been slacking on taking pictures of my truck lately, and it's not because I don't stare at it as much as I can lol.
Anyway today I jacked up the rear of the truck with my garage pro Eagle jack so I could get nice access to my Roadmaster Active Suspension and cleaned them then oiled them up well then lubed up all the moving parts on my AMP Research steps.
Cleaned the truck yesterday, rain/snow today and most of next week.

New fuel filler neck since mine was giving me issues, and since the tank was down and I have been having some extended crank starts and seeing low FP before the HPFP kicks in I also replaced the in tank pump.

Attempted to get a datalog in some sub-par conditions. I was able to get some info, but far from a clean WOT run.

I’m thinking this thing is going to make some good power. 17psi at only 5200rpm and seeing 47#/min. Wasn’t even WOT.

Now that’s dedication! Or sickness. Or both? But who cares? That is a picture of the true pursuit of perfection, even in not so perfect conditions. I truly applaud you!

Scribed my VIN on the cats and painted orange stripe on them with VHT paint. Also noticed the Dorman trans pan plug was wet...

Not doing today but Getting everything set up to have my Fox DSC coilovers rebuilt the 2nd week of April.
I'll be doing everything except the actual rebuild and alignment, I'll be removing then re-installing them.
45k miles on them, think I may actually buy a 2nd set just so I can always have a set ready to go for less down time. Probably will be rebuilding every 30k-40k max from here on out.

Got on a few things today.

1. Tackled the coolant leak. Such a pain to get to, but I was able to pull the line, fix it (one connection came loose), and re-install. I did a pressure test after filling it and no leaks, but some hot coolant and pressure will tell me for sure.

2. Pulled the Catch Can and put the stock PCV system back in place. No real reason other then I want to see how idle is impacted.

3. Oil change. It wasn’t due for a while, but with a big trip planned for next Friday I figured why not.

4. BOV service. The Tial in the past has needed a cleaning every once in a while. This time was no different, the vacuum side was filled with condensation and goop. I quickly cleaned it up and re-assembled. I did find some damage on one side of the diaphragm, it doesn’t go right through. I tested and it’s holding vacuum. I’ll probably order up a replacement.

5. Swapped in the TurboSmart Waste Gates. Mike asked to try them as there was still some hunting. These have a softer spring, so hopefully it helps.

Picked up a camper shell for mine yesterday. Had to drive 4 hours to Virginia Beach but the price and right color made it worth the trip.
